Almost two years after the release of the original Pocophone, the long-awaited successor named Poco F2 Pro is finally here. Last year, we called the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro the spiritual successor of the Pocophone and it kind of filled that gap in the segment so we weren't wrong. Especially seeing how the new Poco F2 Pro is mostly a re-branded Redmi K30 Pro (the previous version of the phone K20 Pro was also known as the Mi 9T Pro in some markets). Complicated, right?

Poco F2 Pro review

Poco F2 Pro smartphone was launched on 12th May 2020. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Poco F2 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The Poco F2 Pro runs Android 10 and is powered by a 4700mAh non-removable battery. The Poco F2 Pro supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Poco F2 Pro on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera; a second 13-megapixel camera; a third 5-megapixel camera and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 20-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

The Poco F2 Pro runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Poco F2 Pro is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Poco F2 Pro measures 163.30 x 75.40 x 8.90mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 218.00 grams. It was launched in Cyber Grey, Electric Purple, Neon Blue, and Phantom White colours.

Connectivity options on the Poco F2 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Poco F2 Pro supports face unlock.
